Visitors to Virgin Gorda enjoy a wonderful subtropical climate. Average air temperature ranges from 25-29 °C or 77-84 °F. During the day, the air temperature reaches highs of 28 °C, 81 °F and cools off in the evening to balmy low to mid 20's Celsius and 70's Fahrenheit.

Most visitors travel to the British Virgin Islands from December through April.

When the temperature drops in the evening as the sun sets, a light jacket or sweater is sometimes required.

Water temperatures are warm, soothing and inviting year-round.

Short rain showers often sweep over Virgin Gorda in the late afternoon or early morning, refreshing the air and keeping the plants green and flowers blooming. Late July through October are the rainiest months, but still the showers are short and the sun is quick to return.

Spectacular sunsets can be enjoyed from the Saba Wind villa balcony, which has uninterrupted views west to other islands and the open ocean.
