 Virgin Gorda is an island located in the British Virgin Islands (BVI), about 50 miles from Puerto Rico and 30 miles from St. Thomas (in the US Virgin Islands).
Virgin Gorda has an airport, as does the neighbouring island of Tortola. Flights into Virgin Gorda airport arrive from San Juan (Puerto Rico), Antigua or St Thomas. Once in Virgin Gorda, Saba Wind villa is reached by a 30 minute drive or taxi ride across the picturesque island.
All flights to Tortola (Beef Island Airport) connect from either San Juan (Puerto Rico), Antigua, St Thomas or St Maarten. If you fly to Tortola, a high speed and scenic ferry then takes you directly to Leverick Bay. As you step off the ferry you will see Saba Wind villa just above you on the hillside!
You may also decide to charter a plane to fly directly to Virgin Gorda or Tortola.

4 STEP THREE: GETTING TO SABA WIND, VIRGIN GORDA
If you fly to Virgin Gorda airport, take a taxi to Saba Wind villa. Alternatively, you can rent a vehicle - rental companies and taxis meet most incoming flights. The drive will be about 30 minutes over the scenic road linking the South and North ends of Virgin Gorda.
If you fly to Tortola (Beef Island) airport, the North Sound Express (NSX) operates a high speed ferry service direct to Leverick Bay, Virgin Gorda. The ferry is a 30 minute breathtaking ride between the islands - it is a wonderful way to start your holiday!
