Whether you are an experienced diver or a newcomer to the sport, you are sure to be thrilled with the diving in the BVI. Colourful fish, waving sea fans and beautiful corals are just some of what you’ll see. Numerous wrecks also lie on the sea floor, waiting to be explored.
Two diving companies operate from North Sound, where Saba Wind villa is located. Both offer SCUBA lessons, refreshers, and other courses as well as all the necessary gear, equipment and air fills. Dive trips go to many locations including the reefs at Great Dog and Ginger Islands and the wreck of the RMS Rhone, a Royal Mail steam ship that sank in a hurricane on October 29th, 1867.
Dive BVI is located in Leverick Bay, just a 5 minute walk from Saba Wind Villa. Visit Dive BVI’s web site for more information on dive sites, courses and rates.
Sunchaser Scuba operates from Bitter End Yacht Club in North Sound, a short boat ride from Saba Wind villa. You can make arrangements for their dive boat to pick you up from the dock at Leverick Bay. Visit Sunchaser Scuba’s web site for further information.
